Potential Tenants: Moving home can be stressful for even the most organised folk, so our goal at Listings, is to make the process as smooth and simple as possible for you. A member of staff will accompany you on viewings and once you have selected a property that you would like to rent we will talk you through the process from beginning to end and provide you with all the necessary literature and information to ensure an effortless tenancy.



All moved in: Congratulations!! While hoping that you are relaxing on the sofa and enjoying your new home, there will be occasions where mandatory maintenance, inspections or visits to the property are necessary or you might need to contact us. In order to support you and to limit the inconvenience to you as much as possible, please see below some useful information.

TENANT INFORMATION

Routine Inspections:

We will contact you after you have had a few weeks to settle in an arrange your first inspection.

First inspection:

If you don’t already know, please ask where to find the;

  • Gas – isolation valve
  • Electricity – main fuse
  • Water – stopcocks

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to ask us.

Ongoing routine inspections:

These will take place during the year. We will give you notice prior to conducting the inspection and can conduct the inspection with or without your present at the property.

Final inspection:

We will carry out a pre checkout inspection approximately 2 weeks before your departure from the property. The checkout procedure will be sent you once at least one month prior to your departure date.

Report a maintenance issue

Please call the office, 01869 321998. If your call is not answered immediately, please follow the instructions on the answering machine message. Follow up your message with an email to info@listings.co.uk explaining the problem in as much detail as possible.   • If you lose or misplace your keys, please contact us in the first instance.
